Job description

Drones that fly longer change what's possible. Faster inspections. More effective surveillance. Longer-range logistics. But most drone batteries cap out too soon.

Tulip Tech designs and manufactures high-density battery systems that push drone flight time 30 to 100% further than standard technology. Built in Den Bosch, Netherlands. Backed by the Dutch Ministry of Defence. Trusted by leading drone companies including Acecore, Percepto, and DeltaQuad. We are not a software company with a hardware attachment we are engineers who design cells, build packs, run tests, and scale production. Everything under one roof, built to last.

Why this role matters

Our batteries help drones fly further. As we scale production, accurate financial administration is just as critical as the engineering behind our packs.

As our Finance Administrator, you keep the financial backbone of a growing manufacturing company clean, current, and reliable. You will handle purchase and sales invoicing, bank bookings, supplier payments, and customer collections, and support the month-end reporting. You also spend time on the production floor and help with our move from Exact to Odoo. You work closely with our Head of Finance & Control, who supports you as you grow in the role.

What you will own

  • Process and book purchase invoices accurately and on time, matching them with purchase orders and receipts.

  • Book bank statements and keep the bank and cash positions up to date.

  • Prepare payment batches to suppliers and reconcile supplier statements.

  • Create and send sales invoices to customers.

  • Follow up on outstanding payments and contact customers about overdue invoices.

  • Assist with the month-end close.

  • Support inventory from the financial side: join stock counts and help investigate and clean up stock differences.

  • Work hands-on with colleagues on the production and warehouse floor, and help load containers when needed.

  • Keep financial records and files accurate and well organised.

Job requirements

  • HBO or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in finance administration, bookkeeping, or accounting.

  • Experience with Exact; experience with Odoo is a plus.

  • A good understanding of bookkeeping principles: purchase and sales ledgers, bank bookings, and VAT.

  • Good Excel skills.

  • Comfortable calling customers about payments: friendly, but persistent.

  • A hands-on attitude: you are comfortable on the production and warehouse floor as well as behind your desk.

  • Attention to detail, a structured way of working, and eagerness to learn.

  • Integrity and discretion in handling financial information.

  • Fluent in English.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, including inventory valuation and stock counts.

  • Some exposure to an ERP implementation or system migration.

Additional information

  • Working language: English. Our team spans 10+ nationalities.

  • Work authorization: EU right to work required.

  • Interview process: Intro call with Recruiter → Interview Day with Head of Finance & Control and CFO Finance (60+45 min, on-site) → Offer.

What we offer

  • Salary between €3,000–€3,500 gross per month (based on full-time employment). For this part-time role (24-32 hours), salary is paid pro rata.

  • Pro rata holidays.

  • 8% holiday allowance, travel reimbursement, and pension via PMT.

  • Daily lunch provided by the company.

  • A startup culture with team outings and events.

  • Freedom to shape your role and take real ownership.
