Job description
As a Warehouse Operator, you are a critical part of the last mile of our customer journey. Your work directly impacts the customer experience by making sure orders are shipped accurately and on time. At the same time, you play an essential role in supporting our production operations by making sure materials are in place to keep production running smoothly. You will see the direct results of your work, develop new skills, and grow.
Drones that fly longer change what is possible. Faster inspections. More effective surveillance. Logistics over greater distances. But most drone batteries run out of power too quickly.
Tulip Tech designs and manufactures high-density battery systems that extend drone flight times by 30% to 100% beyond standard technology. Built in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. Backed by the Dutch Ministry of Defence. Trusted by leading drone companies including Acecore, Percepto, and DeltaQuad. We are not a software company with a hardware component. We are engineers who design cells, build battery packs, conduct testing, and scale production. Everything under one roof, built to last.
Why this role matters
Tulip Tech is in a phase of rapid growth. Production volumes are increasing, shipments are going to defence and commercial customers across Europe, and our logistics function needs to scale alongside the business. The team is small, and the impact is immediate. We are looking for someone who wants to make a real contribution, work independently, and help set the standard for how we operate.
This role is responsible for the physical and administrative flow of goods in and out of Tulip Tech. You will pick, pack, and ship orders, and process the packing lists, commercial invoices, and shipping documents that go with them, because in defence and aerospace logistics a single documentation error can easily cause delays of several days. You will keep inventory accurate, because every incorrectly counted cell or battery pack creates problems further down the line.
You will help build the foundation of a logistics function that supports both our production growth and the customers who rely on us, including those supporting the cause in Ukraine. Your contribution will be visible and meaningful from day one.
Job requirements
Run the core warehouse flow: order picking, packing, and shipping, making sure every order leaves accurately and on time
Take ownership of logistics documentation, including packing lists, commercial invoices, and shipping documents. Accurate, complete, and on time, every time.
Keep inventory honest through cycle counts, goods receipt verification, and records the rest of the business can rely on.
Move seamlessly between the warehouse floor and our operational systems. This is a hands-on role with direct operational impact, and the variety is part of what makes it interesting.
Spot inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and recurring errors, and help build the simple, repeatable processes a growing company needs.
What you bring:
- A genuine willingness to learn, curiosity, and the drive to grow into the role. We care more about how you think and how reliably you show up than about years of experience.
- Strong attention to detail. Details matter here every single day, because a miscount or a wrong document creates problems down the line.
- Comfort with the physical side of warehouse work: lifting, standing, and moving materials throughout the day.
- Ownership, reliability, and a team-first mindset. You see what needs to be done and take action, and you have your colleagues' backs.
- Fluency in English. Dutch is a strong plus!
-You are comfortable working with computers and systems; experience with an ERP, Odoo in particular, is a plus rather than a requirement.
